hello how are we is a collaborative project between dancer and choreographer, Madison Florence and local musical artist, Sarah Zimmer. This performance was inspired by the texts, emails, and phone calls we all have received and made to check-in during quarantine. The unique creative process, funded by the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture, the City of Boston, and a group of donors, culminated in October 2020 in a site-specific, outdoor, and socially distanced performance in Lower Allston. This was a paid opportunity for these dancers and brought together amazing talents from the Greater Boston Area.
